Special Education

The purpose of special education is to assist students with disabilities to access and benefit from regular education through direct instruction in basic skills. The special education department offers classes to improve skills in reading, writing, math and language. Interpersonal skills and community living skills are also available. Enrollment, curriculum, assessment, and credit are determined on an individual basis by each student’s Individual Education Plan Team.
