For many girls, camp is the first opportunity they have to experience archery, horseback riding, and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programming. We will be doing a few community service activities while we are there (building cooking stoves, delivering goats (yes, this should be interesting), and meeting with young indigenous children). We have been asked to bring school supplies with us, if possible, to help outfit their school. The TA wants to raise enough $ to send a student to camp.&nbsp; (approx. $2500).&nbsp; Bill Dunn, one of the evening custodians, is dying a part of his hair pink for every $500.00 donated.&nbsp; He’s willing to turn his mustache and the hair on his head pink. If you see him you’ll notice that he wears a picture of Grace around his neck. Vermont is one of the few states with a full voting student member on its State Board of Education. This is an exciting opportunity for Vermont’s young people. Applicants should be secondary students who will graduate in 2013 or later for a two-year term on the Board.&nbsp; During the student member’s first year, they are a non-voting member.
