Most of our activities are free and on site at U-32. Sometimes, we go off campus (mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, skiing, etc.); this requires a CC permission slip and a Community Connections Registration form. Registration is a once‐a‐year thing and is good for all of our off‐campus activities. Forms can be downloaded at www.communityconnections.us.
Winter Break Offerings:
MONDAY, 2/25
Ski Stowe XC , grades 7–12. 9‐4:30. Originates at U‐32. Price TBD.
TUESDAY, 2/26
Woodworking: The Bench Project (grades 6 & up, and parents are
welcome!). Build a simple, yet elegant, bench. $50 includes all
materials. 8:30—4:30 in the MHS wood shop with Paul Dayton.
WEDNESDAY, 2/27
Surf and snow/Jay Peak. Ski or ride, or enjoy all day in the water
park. Grades 6 & up. $55 to ski/$45 for waterpark. 7:30—5:00.
Originates at MHS.
THURSDAY, 2/28
Best of Boston. Trip to Faneuil Hall area, taking in the hustle and
bustle of this historic part of Boston. Price TBD.
FRIDAY, 3/1
“Climb and Cinema” in Burlington. Petra Cliffs indoor climbing walls
(all abilities welcome) & afternoon on Church Street, ending with a
movie. Grade 6 and up. 9—5:00. Originates at U‐32. $55.
MONDAY, 3/5
XC ski step‐up day, grades 4‐8. All skate skiing! 9:00—3:00 at U‐32.
