Computers

Computers 7 is a quarter-long course designed to introduce students to the U-32 networking system and familiarize them with Microsoft Office 2007. Students will learn to touch type and utilize Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Students will complete a variety of projects that build skills and align with Core activities.

Computers 8
8th Grade Computers is a quarter-long course designed to reinforce skills acquired during Computer 7 and introduce students to a variety of editing programs. Students will complete a series of projects using Microsoft Office and media editing/creation software. Students will learn to efficiently manage and share files on the network and develop a system of organization. Assessments will be project based and align with Core activities.
